Make your garden bee friendly
This year we have decided to make our garden bee friendly we have left all the wild flowers in the beds and have so far been rewarded with large numbers of bees humming their way around our flower borders. It is a wondeful site as the bees move from plant to plant gathering pollen and our garden is now full of flowers all shouting for the bees to visit.
The bees are in decline and need all the help they can get, without bees there would be no plants , it has been said that without bees we would have a serious food shortage after just four years so it is in all our interests that we encourage the bees.

Campaign guff
Well at last I have had some election flyers through my letterbox the usual glossy flyer from the Conservatives, but a very impressive personally addressed letter from the Lib Dems not glossy just an envelope with my name and address with a letter outlining the views of our local candidate.Well done Mr Beardsmore, Lib Dems, you got my attention unlike the impersonal glossy sheet I got from the other party which is filed under W.
